Another feature of the A321 control system is the active participation of the on-board computer in aircraft control by default, the computer takes over control from the pilots after retracting the landing gear and reaching an airspeed of 200 knots, setting the PB trimmers to the neutral position, and can also engage the autothrottle and accelerate the aircraft from landing speed to cruising if the pilot has released the flaps to position 3, but did not release the chassis. The control system leaves its mark on the style of control of the A321: despite the weight comparable to the Boeing - 757-100, the liner is distinguished by a faster reaction to sidestick movements during cruise flight, which requires special care from its pilots. It also has a fly-by-wire control system, but accommodates more passengers (185 in a two-class configuration), flies further and higher. The Airbus A321 is a further development of the A320 and a direct competitor to the legendary Boeing - 757.
